Ms. Darlene Bailey

MS. BAILEY IS DELIGHTED TO BE IN THE CLASSROOM working with elementary students, the elementary teaching team, and all the families of NTCA. Her personal quote is "I love teaching and this is my passion!"

Ms. Bailey started early childhood education over 20 years ago. She worked with the Head Start program and at many day care centers. For some time she left education to raise her niece and nephews along with her own children. During that time she furthered her education by attending Upper Iowa University and Springfield College and received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education. She taught as a substitute teacher in several Christian schools. She specializes in teaching students reading and handwriting.

Ms. Bailey loves art! Her hobbies include creating arts and crafts, painting, drawing, making jewelry and repairing jewelry. 

Her favorite bible verse is the Lord's prayer.

“This, then, is how you should pray:

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
