DR. CASON IS EXCITED TO BE PART OF New Testament Christian Academy, where students are valued as unique creations and have the opportunity to learn, grow, and become the young men and women that God has intended them to be.
Dr. Cason was previously the pastor of Victorious Life Assembly in north Georgia before being called to the mission field. He and his family spent 12 years working in sub-Saharan Africa teaching, evangelizing, and planting churches in South Africa, Swaziland (now Eswatini), Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, and Nigeria, while Dr. Cason taught at Phumelela Bible College in South Africa.
Dr. Cason earned his bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Ministry from Ohio Christian University. He earned his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Educational Leadership from Liberty University where his dissertation on cultural identity and the student’s belief in their ability to succeed was recognized as the Outstanding Qualitative Dissertation of 2021 by Liberty University’s School of Education. He has previously taught high school Bible and middle school social studies at other Milwaukee area Christian schools.
Dr. Cason believes that teaching is ministry, and ministry as in life is about growing closer to Jesus Christ bringing as many as possible along with you. Paul wrote to the Philippian church, “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus.”
