MS. RENEE JOHNSON LOVES THE FACT THAT SHE CAN share the truth about Jesus with the children at New Testament Christian Academy. She also appreciates the loving care of the staff for the children and the spiritual and academic integrity of the school. She has been at NTCA since 2002.
Having a child can change your world and it was the same for Mrs. Johnson. After she had her son James, she became interested in pursuing a teaching career. Her first career was in technology, and today, she loves bringing digital devices into the classroom to aid the 21st century leaner. Mrs. Johnson uses laptops, desktops, and the SMART Board to engage with students.
Mrs. Johnson’s personal mission statement comes from Matthew:
From Matthew 22:
“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all they heard, and with all they soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love they neighbor as thyself.”
From Matthew 28:
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”
When Ms. Johnson is not working with the staff or students, she enjoys getting together with those she loves, family and friends.
Ms. Johnson says Matthew 6:33 is one of her favorite verses as she has seen it proven true often.
