Dr. Tamika L. Johnson

DR. JOHNSON LOVES TEACHING AT NEW TESTAMENT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY because she's a firm believer in Christian education. She believes children can build and maintain a relationship with the Holy Spirit as a child into their adult life. 

Dr. Johnson will be a new teacher at NTCA. However, she has been a teacher for over 20 years. She taught K5-1st Grade at a few Christian schools the first 13 years as a teacher. She went on to be a Dean of Student for a while at a Charter school. She taught middle school English and ended last school year as a high school English teacher at a MPS alternative partnership school in Milwaukee's inner city.

Outside of teaching Dr. Johnson is a Minister, Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, and Author. She's a wife of 15 years and the mother of two children. She's published 6 books. She's the founder of the women's organization Women Leaving the Clubs and Returning Home and the owner of Grow Up: Empowerment Life Coaching. She firmly promotes the need of one having a growth mindset. She believes one must be intentional about their growth. Her motto is "Let TODAY be the day YOU GROW UP ON PURPOSE!"   She believes in servant leadership. She believes that GREAT leaders lead with the heart of a servant!
