MS. KUBIAK BELIEVES THAT EDUCATION IS THE essential path that students must take to be successful in this world as it opens the door to a myriad of opportunities. In most cases, it is more important to develop a love of learning, to know how to learn, and to build perseverance in problem solving. She strives to make her classroom a place that fosters these principles. Accommodating different learning styles, her class atmosphere is one that is conducive to ignite students’ passion for learning and solving problems.
This can be a great feeling of accomplishment that they want to have repeated again and again. Keeping the diverse needs of her students in mind, she utilizes a variety of teaching strategies for presenting the lessons and makes use of technology in her classroom as much as possible. Together these strategies make her classroom a dynamic place to be.
Ms. Kubiak’s educational background includes a business degree in Marketing and Computers from UW-Oshkosh. After working in this field for several years, she made the decision to work in the home raising her two children and running a home daycare. Working in this daycare was where Ms. Kubiak realized that she had missed her calling and then returned to Lakeland College to secure her degree in education.
Currently, Ms. Kubiak lives just a mile from NTCA . She has two adult children and enjoys a new role as Grandma (or, YaYa as they call her)! She enjoys reading, movies, volunteering at church and crafts. She loves any chance she can get to attend musicals, plays, book club meetings, and sporting events in the area. She is also fervent about making herself available for tutoring students outside of class times at NTCA.
