Ms. Lindberg is originally from Minnesota, where she earned her K-6 Education Degree at Concordia University St. Paul along with a 5-8 Math Endorsement and Theology Minor, running NCAA D2 cross country and track and field on the side. Outside of work, you will find her spending time with family and friends, travelling, and running/swimming/hiking outdoors. She has previously taught 2nd grade and 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math.
Ms. Lindberg enjoys getting to know the unique qualities of each student, which inspires her to constantly grow as a professional. She loves watching her students grow and progress, and is passionate about instilling a growth mindset - one that says, “I can figure out any challenge with some grit, a strategy, and God’s help.”
Beyond the core subjects, she is passionate about teaching students God’s promises. The way she sees it,
“In an ever-changing, technology-driven world, we don’t know exactly what jobs we are preparing students for. Many of the jobs that will be offered to them don’t even exist yet. So we do our best to prepare/educate students by following national standards, assessing, teaching critical thinking-skills, and so much more. But what we know for certain is Christ the Foundation, the Beginning and the End, the One who offers to walk alongside our students through whatever ups and downs life will bring their way. He is the One all generations can count on. The best thing we can do for the next generation is teach them about God in, through, and above the curriculum.”
Ms. Lindberg's favorite bible verse and personal mission statement come from this Proverbs verse.
