Meet Ms. Debra Nelson

Ms. Nelson has had many positions within the work sector, but is very enthused about her position as Office Manager/Secretary here at New Testament Christian Academy. Although this is a new challenge for her she embraces the opportunity to impart the word of God into the lives of our young people.
Ms. Nelson’s past employment includes over 20 years at Froedtert Hospital in various departments as a Scheduling Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, HR Assistant, and a Medical Records Supervisor for the Orthopedic Department.
She has and still serves the Lord throughout her Christian walk in the capacity of: Evangelist, Missionary President, Sunday School Teacher, Praise & Worship, Girl Scout Leader and Outreach Team/Coordinator.
God has given her a desire/passion for soul-winning. Ms. Nelson welcomes any opportunity the Lord gives her to speak of his goodness his mercy, his saving grace. Since God has given her a burden for souls what better place to be but within NTCA our motto is Prov.22:6 “To train a child up in the way the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart” She wants to be part of that training, to help write the words if God on the doorpost of their hearts and souls. (Deuteronomy 11:18).
She prays that the Christian impact of Godly wisdom and instruction from our staff would spark or ignite a burning desire within the children to have a desire to know God intimately and serve him undeniably without shame in their Christian walk.
Ms. Nelson enjoys reading, baking, trips to the beach, picnics, walking, biking, singing, decorating, and going to her grandson’s football games. Ms. Nelson loves spending time with family on trips and monthly family gatherings. Where they celebrate family- life. She enjoys traveling and has had the opportunity to check off her bucket list a trip to the (Holy Land) Israel this past summer.
Ms. has three lovely daughters, one an entrepreneur, the other Associate Pastor and also a daughter employed here at NTCA as Teacher’s Assistant.
